CIGMAN Supports the 13th Girly Man Open in St. Louis, Missouri

A Local Tradition That Just Keeps on Growing

This year, CIGMAN was proud to join the 13th Annual Girly Man Open (GMO) , a St. Louis, Missouri charity golf tradition founded in 2008 by an organization with 18 years of history.

The GMO isn't just about golf. Underneath, it's about raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and bringing people together for a cause that matters.

The event is organized by the Funraisers Foundation. Their story goes back to 2008, when 12 golfers decided to think outside the box. Instead of joining a"walk for the cure", they dressed up in women's clothing, teed it up, and raised 300 dollars the first year. That playful idea, the enthusiasm of the founders, and the benevolence of the sponsors have turned the GMO into an annual occasion that increases, gets more fun, and more significant every year.

Playful, Quirky and Meaningful

What's unique about the Girly Man Open this year is that it strikes a balance between serious intent and humor. Participants arrived in Barbie-themed outfits, dined on Brazilian BBQ, and competed in fun events. Most importantly, every dollar raised will go straight into breast cancer research.

This year, the community came together to raise more than $15,000, reinforcing the fact that giving back and having fun are not mutually exclusive.

CIGMAN's Contribution

We were honored to donate 10 of our CT-1200 PRO golf rangefinders to this year's event. They went into winners' prize packages, closest-to-the-pin competitions and raffle baskets. Seeing golfers win and use them on the course was exhilarating for us. It was never just about the equipment. It was about being part of an effort where sport, fun and giving meet.
